MY LOVESHACKFANCYxTARGET EXPERIENCE
As soon as I heard that LoveShackFancy was doing a collaboration with Target, I put alerts on my calendar to make sure that I didn’t miss it! I also alerted my family to be up and ready if I needed their help. They were all on board and as the sole female in the family I think they are rather amused with my fashion obsession anyway! As a fashion designer and stylist, I am passionate about all things fashion and love when I find brands that fit my lifestyle. LoveShackFancy has been a favorite of mine for years because of its romantic aesthetic and vintage flowery feel. In fact, it reminds me so much of my decorating style with vintage and floral pieces, lots of shabby chic feels and femininity that was styled in my last home.
When it was midnight the day of the launch, I was prepared and ready to hopefully get the dresses I had marked as my favorites. By 12:03 AM the styles were in my bag and then successfully ordered!!! They also were sold out by that time in my size, so I was excited but also was a little amazed at how quickly they sold out! Though with a price point of $45-$60 for each piece compared to their average $400-$800 price point for a dress, I can understand why the collection sold out within minutes.
The dress that was on my list as my number one choice was a pretty ballet pink ruffle halter dress layered with tulle and dotted swiss that just oozes femininity. In fact if this was the only one I was able to purchase I would have been completely happy. I can wear this for any special event but considering the pandemic has limited my “special event” list, I probably will be wearing it around the house dreaming of when I can go out with my heels or maybe I will have a garden picnic wearing it and enjoy feeling pretty amongst the flowers and warm summer sun.
The dresses from the collection all are so pretty to go out in, but still casual enough to wear with a cute sneaker while running errands. No matter what, you will be seeing me styled in these dresses for a long time and probably years to come, because honestly, they are just much too pretty to take off!
