From a Garage to the World
What began with a few jeweled tops and one woman’s belief that everyday clothing deserved a little more beauty grew into a fashion brand worn and loved around the world.

The Spark
Yvette did not follow a traditional path into fashion. After USC and a career as a financial analyst, she returned to the creativity she had loved since childhood — and launched her namesake collection from the garage of her Southern California home. Jeweled tanks, hoodies and matching sets, rhinestones, and what became her signature princess crown.

No team, no fashion house. Yvette designed, produced, sold, packed and ran the business herself while raising two children, carrying her pieces from store to store. Buyers told her rhinestones had fallen out of fashion. She trusted her instincts.

The collections reached Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Fred Segal and Harrods, and boutiques across the United States, England and Japan. Comfort, sparkle and playful femininity — pieces that felt special without being precious, that women could live in and still feel beautiful.

The Yvette Mandell world found a fitting home at Disney’s Vault 28. Yvette hosted trunk shows at the Disneyland Resort store, presenting both her women’s designs and her children’s collection — crowns, crystals, and the belief that fashion should hold a little magic.
